My niece Eleanor turned one in early July, so of course we wanted to help capture her celebration! She is such a ham and has a big personality already so her 'looks' and faces were priceless. A freshly cut field was the perfect location-one of the many things we appreciate when we go home. Happy Birthday Elle!

While we were back in WI, we were fortunate enough to see some great Phoenix friends. The Schroeder family lived about a mile away from us and we became very close with the kids over the last few years. We were heartbroken when they moved away (and still are), but loved hanging out with them and we picked up right where we left off. Their mom told me that whenever the kids play 'house', Ella is Erin, Eli is Brian, and Emily is their baby :)
