This wedding was a blast to photograph. Two awesome families, a beautiful couple, great weather, and the perfect venue. This wedding also featured the best father/daughter dance ever.....definitely a youtube hit! Couldn't have asked for anything more.

Julie and Dave got married in Jamaica in February and wanted to do a wedding session back in Phoenix. We felt that Val Vista Lakes in Gilbert had the perfect landscape to recreate the beautiful couple's big day. Plus, it holds a special place in our hearts as it was our wedding venue as well. As we were heading down to Mesa that afternoon, a huge dust storm made it's way across the east valley which gave us some huge clouds and an incredible sunset. We incorporated some fun lighting techniques which gave the pictures a dramatic feel. The bride and groom looked amazing and we had such a great time.
