We were especially excited for this session because it was our first session in our new home studio and we wanted to take advantage of the beautiful wash behind our house including all the wild flowers that had blossomed. We had a lot of new gear we wanted to use and we are so grateful that Jeff and Krystal were willing to come over. After capturing some sweet moments, we headed out back. The weather was beautiful and the desert had a beautiful sunset glow. It is so fun trying new things and having them turn out exactly how we envisioned them.
Valentine Loves
We were so excited for this Valentine's session for so many reasons. The Huizinga family was one of the last Christmas sessions of 2013, and they were our first repeat clients. We had a few new toys and props to try out, and the weather was amazing. We are so fortunate to be able to have outdoor sessions year round, something that I hope will never get old! This was our first 'themed' session and it was so fun playing with different elements and seeing them all come together. The kids came ready to go and they did not disappoint. I don't think I've ever had kids warm up to us this quick, which is awesome because it makes for a great session :)
