Our friends Kevin and Jenn had just recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary and Jenn asked if we could help surprise Kevin with a session that included their new puppy. Brian and Kevin have known each other since college and Brian was a groomsman in their wedding last summer. We found a beautiful location for their picnic and had a blast hanging out with them.
Abandoned Arizona Dog Track
Photographing abandoned buildings has always fascinated me. Not only do these places have a cool, eery feeling, they usually come with some awesome textures and can be used as backdrops for portraits. I found a great website Ghosts Towns of Arizona that will be my starting point for shooting these weird places in Arizona. Here is the first place I visited, deserted since 1982, an abandoned dog racing track in Black Canyon City. I actually think would be an awesome setting for a unique portrait session!!!
